Making session
In today’s session, I continued painting the head, this time adding the needed details to transform it into a magic eitght ball head. I have occurred some issues, such as the layer of glue becoming goopy, making the layer harder to paint. However the other side of the ball had a smooth like layer, and the black outside also.
I have also shaped some new shoes, using ‘fimo professional’ modelling clay, already pigmented red. Which will hopefully save me time when decorating the feet. I will later bake these in the oven, at 110°C for thirty minutes.
For the rest of the body, I have applied a opaque glitter paint to the white skin to give a more unusual but glamours and ‘magical’ touch. Which further suspends her unusualness yet glamour aesthetic.
Process of making the shoes;

Then I made tinfoil to be shaped like feet.
Then I began to sculpt a rough shape of a shoe. Slowly adding layers and layers.

-At first I had to work into the mould, to make it much softer as at first it was too stiff to mould

Which I smoothed out using sculpting tools. A struggle was the heel folding in on its self.
I then added the very simple detail of a flower.
