Feminism in the incredibles

This showcases a great message to the youth of our world that gender roles are not cemented, they are rather flexible. In a healthy and strong relationship, spouses will work hard to support their significant others in their strides toward success.’
What I have learnt from this article;
These article debates that the new trailer showcasing incredible 2 shows an empowering messaging of feminism, that alters the traditional nuclear family rules. Where genders do not defy the rules each family member plays, for example the stereotypical "the man of the house earns the money whilst the women plays house wife" which is shown in the previous, original incredibles film. However in the second film, we are shown in the trailer the rules switched. In a positive way also, the mother is not only earning, but is ‘saving the day’ being an hero, but is also doing so in a powerful movement for superhero’s to once again be accept In their society (in the world that the animated film plays). Despite showing the father struggling, it does not communicate that because of his sex he able to, but the true challenges that come with being a stray at home parent (espcaily when your children have super powers, and a baby who has now even more challenging powers to deal with.)
This shows a new way of thinking, a-adapted to the current state of way family’s live, more diverse. Aka we’re both, either or neither parents work.
